Measuring Light is a one-man band authored by a hobbyist photographer based in Macau SAR, China.
It is not affiliated to any camera brand or store.
Features camera gear fully owned by the author, who suffers from Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
Abhors spec-oriented reviews because photography is an art form, not lab science.
Measuring Light is not a camera review site.
There’s the occasional review, but less frequent now because people prefer funny YouTube superstar reviewers anyway.
Thus,
Measuring Light is just a photography related blog where the author shares his wisdom using cameras in real world scenarios.
With the occasional rumbling on things totally unrelated.
The author
He comes from the colonial days with a mixed Portuguese-Chinese background. He enjoys mocking both cultures just because he can.
He holds a degree in Architecture and works as a director in a corporate firm. He’s a boring nobody.
He was stupid enough to pick two expensive hobbies: photography and road cycling. To fully enjoy both he needs to travel, making it a triple blow to his wallet.
