A ferry cruise on a rainy day and I resisted the temptation of bringing my medium format Fuji GFX 50R. Instead, I opted for a lightweight setup with my Sony RX1R ii.
Still think this is one of the best cameras around. Full-frame 42 million pixels combined with a fantastic Zeiss 35mm f/2 lens and a very good EVF. Image quality to die for. All this in a super slim camera body. A hand grenade, and a powerful one indeed. What else could you ask for?
The photos you see here were not post processed – only some reframing done.
These are the true colours captured by the RX1R ii. I like the sepia look very much and the fact some of these photos could actually be mistaken for black & white. Again, no filter, no post-processing forgery.
