I was surprised to see Panasonic Lumix launch the new Lumix L10 with promotional photos taken in Macau. They were shot in different locations, with Portuguese-style colonial buildings and traditional calçada Portuguesa pavement in the background.

That caught my attention right away. It is not often that Macau gets this kind of spotlight in global camera campaigns. It put a smile on my face and made me feel proud.

That said, this is all I have to say about this.

The “new” Lumix L10 is really just a rebranded and modernized Lumix LX100. There is nothing truly new here.

No real reason to get excited.
