I recently loaded a roll of Fujicolor 200 negative film into the Olympus Trip 35. The results totally surprised me.

The images look timeless.

It is not about technical metrics. Forget resolution, sharpness, colour accuracy, whatever. Forget technical excellence.

Technical excellence produces predictable outcomes. A world defined solely by technical excellence would be an utterly boring one.

I’m so happy to have rediscovered the joy of film.

*All photos above taken with Olympus Trip 35 loaded with Fujicolor 200 negative film. Developed at a local lab, scanned at home using Valoi easy35 v2 and processed with Negative Lab Pro.
