A new chapter for Measuring Light.
I started this blog back in 2018. At the time, it seemed obvious to write exclusively in English, as almost all the camera review sites I followed were in English.
Now, eight years later, Measuring Light has grown beyond my expectations. Considering the daily visitors and the massive audience spread across mainland China and the rest of the world, it became clear that providing the site in Chinese was an obvious way forward.
With the help of AI tools, I effectively turned Measuring Light into a bilingual platform overnight for a negligible cost. I’m incredibly proud and happy about this milestone!
A Quick Note on the AI Translations
Since the Chinese version is generated automatically using AI tools, at present it is not 100% accurate. For instance, whenever I mention the Fuji brand, the AI sometimes translates it to Chinese as Mount Fuji (富士山). I am sure there are other inconsistencies as well.
Hope you all understand that due to a lack of time and my own inability to read Chinese (although I am a fluent speaker), there is no manual proofreading at this stage. I will try to iron all this out over time.
What Measuring Light is all about
Measuring Light is not a commercial platform. This blog was created simply as a way to share my experiences with the cameras I buy myself. I love testing them, using them, writing about them and sharing my knowledge with the global photography community.
Now that I can reach out to Chinese readers as well, I hope this blog becomes even more useful.
If you have any questions or want to know more about the camera gear featured on the blog, please go ahead and leave a comment. I am always happy to share my experiences and help you out.
Wish you a very happy life and an enjoyable experience in photography as a hobby!
